The countdown is over, the wait is over. The hype is here and now. Errr is it? As expected my the vast majority of us, who participated in these type of launch events before, there have been snags and bumps in the road.
This should not be discouraging to anyone and it should not come as a shock. Upon login, many players were discovering that they had the wrong item in their inventory. Quickly and professionally, the Elysium / Nostalrius team acted and brought the servers down for an immediate maintenance.
Shortly after this announcement, the Elysium Project team updated the community that they were already working on resolving the problem, first via the PvE realm.
Given the professionalism and experience that the staff on this project has collectively, I expect that this situation will be resolved in short order and the community will be reunited at long last, for good.
